Anita graduated from NUI, Galway where she obtained a Bachelor of Corporate Law degree in 1998 and a Bachelor of Laws degree in 1999. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2003 and trained and worked in legal practices in Dublin and Galway before joining Blake & Kenny Solicitors in 2024.
Anita has a broad range of experience, having commenced her career primarily working in Litigation (personal injury and defence) before specialising in Property Law, Wills, and Estate Planning. She has extensive experience with both private clients and companies in all aspects of residential and commercial conveyancing, as well as advising lending institutions in commercial lending. As an expert in Will Drafting, Estate Planning and the Administration of Estates, Anita has effectively represented clients in probate and contract disputes at all court levels.
She has completed a Diploma in Corporate Law and Governance, a Certificate in Commercial Contracts, and a Certificate in Data Protection Practice with the Law Society of Ireland. Anita specialises in Property Law, Wills and Estate Planning. Other areas Anita advises on include Landlord and Tenant law, Company Law, Licensing Law, and Data Protection Law.
