Laura King

Laura joined Blake and Kenny LLP Solicitors in 2025, bringing extensive experience in private client and property matters developed over many years in practice in both Dublin and Galway.

Laura qualified as a solicitor in 2001 after completing a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at NUI Galway. She later completed the AITI professional taxation qualification through the Institute of Taxation and also obtained a Diploma in Commercial Law from the Law Society of Ireland.

Prior to returning to Galway, Laura practised in Dublin for a number of years, gaining valuable experience across a broad range of conveyancing, probate and taxation matters.

Laura’s practice is focused primarily on conveyancing, probate and estate administration, wills, enduring powers of attorney and taxation matters arising in the context of property transactions and estates. She has extensive experience advising clients on residential and commercial property transactions, including sales, purchases, refinancing and leasing matters.

Laura also advises clients in relation to succession and estate planning, assisting with the preparation of wills and enduring powers of attorney, together with the administration of estates and the associated taxation considerations.
