Nuala attended NUI Galway, graduating with a BA Degree and L.L.B. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1987 and practised with the firm of John M Ford Solicitors, Galway until 1995 when she joined Lewis C Doyle & Co. In 2013 she set up the practice of Ford & Associates, of which she was principal. This firm was incorporated into Blake & Kenny LLP in 2024.
She practises mainly in the area of private-client services, with specialist knowledge of Purchasing, Selling and Leasing Commercial and Residential Properties, Probate, Estate Planning, Wills and Capital Taxes. She has accumulated expert knowledge regarding all types of property transactions and acts for many of Galway's major property developers, with extensive experience acting for both commercial and private clients.
