Michael qualified as a solicitor in 1974, having previously attended University College Galway and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. He joined Blake & Kenny in the same year and has been a Partner of the firm ever since, building a practice rooted in the West of Ireland that spans more than five decades.
Michael is a highly respected member of the legal profession in Galway and acts on behalf of the Local Authority. Over the course of his career he has represented many of Galway's prominent companies, businesses, and individuals across local-government law, property and conveyancing, probate and estate management, company law, and litigation, including personal injury matters.
